Chandler Pool Builders | Custom Inground Pools — Caribbean Pools

Building Custom Pools in Chandler Since 1996
Caribbean Pools has been building custom inground pools throughout Chandler and the East Valley for nearly 30 years. We’re ROC Licensed (#325789 B-04), and we know Chandler well — from the lakeside estates of Ocotillo to the newer master-planned communities along the Price Road corridor. If you’re researching pool builders in Chandler, here’s what separates us: we price every pool from a detailed line-item sheet, we handle all permits in-house, and you work with the same team from your first design appointment to the day we hand you the keys to your backyard.
A pool in Chandler is one of the smartest investments an East Valley homeowner can make. With 300+ days of sunshine and warm weather stretching from April through November, your pool gets used — by the kids, by guests, and on those perfect fall evenings when the whole family is outside until dark. Free design consultation — no pressure, no commitment.
Why Chandler Homeowners Choose Caribbean Pools
We Know Chandler’s Build Conditions
Chandler spans a wide range of neighborhoods and lot types — from established communities with mature trees and tight access to newer master-plans with generously sized backyards and fresh HOA design guidelines. We’ve built pools across the city and we factor local site conditions, HOA requirements, and permit specifics into every quote upfront — not as surprises after excavation begins.
ROC-Licensed, Fully Permitted Every Time
Caribbean Pools is licensed by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC #325789 B-04). We pull every permit ourselves — pool, fencing, electrical, and gas if applicable. We handle all city inspector coordination from submittal through final sign-off. Your pool is built legally, by the book, every time.
Line-Item Pricing — No Package Guessing
We don’t sell packages. Every pool is priced from a detailed line-item sheet with hundreds of options — so you pay for exactly what you want and nothing you don’t. Your quote shows every item individually: pool shell, interior finish, decking, water features, equipment, and permit fees. No hidden charges, no upgrade surprises mid-build.
One Team, Start to Finish
From your first design meeting through equipment commissioning and your final walkthrough, you work with the same Caribbean Pools team. Your salesperson stays involved. Your project manager stays reachable. That continuity is rare in the industry and it makes a real difference in the final result.

The Chandler Pool Building Process — What to Expect
1. Free Design Consultation
We meet at your home, walk your yard, talk through goals and budget. No pressure, no commitment. You’ll leave with a clear sense of what’s possible and an honest cost framework. Most consultations take 60–90 minutes.
2. Design + Quote
We produce a custom design and a detailed line-item quote with every option priced individually. You see exactly what you’re paying for. Revisions are free until you’re satisfied.
3. Contract + Permit Submittal
Once you sign, we collect a 30% down payment and immediately submit for permits. Chandler’s permit process is generally efficient for the East Valley — typically a few weeks from submittal. We handle every application, inspector coordination, and fee, with permit costs passed through to you at cost, no markup.
4. Excavation + Steel
We stake the pool footprint, excavate the shell, and set the rebar cage. Inspection follows before the next step begins.
5. Shotcrete
The structural concrete shell is applied over the rebar framework. After shotcrete, the pool shape is fixed. The structure carries a lifetime warranty.
6. Plumbing, Electrical, Equipment
All plumbing lines, conduit, equipment pad, automation wiring, and gas lines (if applicable) are installed and rough-in inspected before anything is covered.
7. Hardscape + Decking
Coping, travertine or pavers, water features, fencing, and any outdoor living features are completed. The backyard takes shape at this stage.
8. Interior Finish, Fill, Final Inspection
Plaster or pebble finish gets applied, the pool is filled, equipment commissioned, water chemistry balanced, and we walk you through every aspect of operation. City final inspection signs off your permit, and the pool is yours.
Total timeline: typically 3–5 months from contract signing to completion in Chandler. Permit timing is the biggest variable — our team tracks every submittal and keeps you informed throughout.
Pool Features Popular with Chandler Homeowners
Heat + Cool Pumps for Arizona’s Full Season
When summer air temps hit 110°F+, pool water can climb to 90°F without intervention. We install Hayward HeatPro heat-and-cool pumps that can warm your pool in cooler months or chill it in peak summer — keeping your water genuinely refreshing year-round. It’s the most impactful single upgrade for East Valley pools.
Lakeside and Resort-Style Designs
Chandler’s Ocotillo community and similar neighborhoods set a high bar for backyard design. Zero-edge effects, raised spas, sheer descents, and integrated outdoor kitchens are all popular here. We design resort-style pools that match the scale and aesthetic of the neighborhood — not cookie-cutter builds.
Family-Friendly Water Features
Baja shelves, deck jets, sheer descents, and grottos are popular across Chandler’s family communities. We design water features as a coordinated system — matched flow rates, automation zones, and visual scale — so the result looks intentional from the first day to the tenth year.
Smart Pool Automation
Control your pool from your phone — temperature, lights, water features, cleaning schedule, and more. We install Hayward OmniLogic for full smartphone control, or Hayward Omni PL for a streamlined approach. WiFi at the equipment pad is all you need.
Outdoor Kitchens and Shade Structures
The best time to add an outdoor kitchen or pergola is during pool construction, when the ground is already open and electrical and gas runs are simple. We build BBQ islands with Bull Outdoor appliances, alumawood and 4K pergola shade structures, fire pits, and full CMU ramadas — all as part of an integrated original scope.

Caribbean Pools builds custom inground pools at every level — from clean starter pools to fully integrated resort-style backyards. FAQ — Chandler Pool Building
How long does it take to build a pool in Chandler?
Most Chandler builds run 3–5 months from contract signing to completion. Permit processing in Chandler is generally efficient for the East Valley. We submit permits immediately after contract signing and keep you updated throughout.
Does Caribbean Pools handle Chandler permits?
Yes. We manage every permit application, all inspector coordination, and pass permit fees through to you at cost — no markup.
Do I need HOA approval for a pool in Chandler?
Many Chandler communities require HOA architectural review before construction. Requirements vary by HOA but typically cover pool shape, decking and fencing materials, and equipment placement. We provide complete plan packages for HOA submission. We recommend starting your HOA application at the same time as your design consultation so both timelines run in parallel.
Do I need a fence around my pool in Chandler?
Arizona state law requires a compliant pool barrier. You can meet code with a perimeter fence, or with self-closing, self-latching doors on any house door that opens to the pool area with the latch handle at least 54 inches above the floor. We build wrought iron and removable mesh fencing and install all required code-compliant hardware.
What interior finish do you recommend?
Pebble Sheen is our most popular upgrade in the East Valley — lifetime warranty, wide range of colors, and its natural pebble texture holds up beautifully in Arizona’s sun and water conditions. Standard Ultra Poz is the included base option with a 2-year warranty.
What financing options are available?
We work with pool financing partners that specialize in inground pool loans. See our financing page for current partners and terms, or ask at your design consultation.
