Yes — complimentary design consultations and estimates, no commitment required. One of our designers will come to your home, walk your yard, measure the space, and have a detailed conversation about how you want to use your pool. You’ll get a custom design and a line-item quote tailored to your yard, not a generic template. Schedule a consultation.

A standard pool typically takes 12 to 20 weeks from excavation to fill. More elaborate pools with extensive hardscape, outdoor living features, or complex permitting may take longer. Permit processing alone can take 2 to 4 weeks depending on the jurisdiction. See our full step-by-step build process.

Yes. Caribbean Pools handles every permit application, every fee, and all inspector coordination — pool structure, fencing, electrical, and gas (where applicable). Permit costs are passed through to you at cost with no markup. Our in-house permitting team has long-standing relationships with every jurisdiction in the Valley.

Yes — Phoenix’s mild winters make year-round pool construction practical. We build and pour shotcrete in every season.

Most of our pools start around $50,000. Mid-range custom pools typically run $60,000 to $90,000. High-end pools with extensive features (spas, water features, ramadas, outdoor kitchens, etc.) generally fall in the $120,000 to $150,000 range — and from there, the sky’s the limit. We offer fully itemized line-item pricing, so you see exactly what every component costs and you can adjust scope to fit your budget.

Our standard packages include everything you need for a complete pool: the pool shell, interior finish, waterline tile, full decking, Hayward pump and filter, all necessary plumbing and equipment, permits, and your in-person orientation at the end. Several of our current packages even include PebbleTec interior finish at the base price. Visit our Popular Pool Packages page for current details.

Permits are included in our pricing. Items typically NOT included that you may need to budget for: required perimeter fencing or self-closing gates, electrical service upgrades if your panel needs more capacity, and any landscape repair beyond the immediate pool area. We flag every one of these during your design consultation so there are no surprises.

Yes. We work primarily with Lyon Financial and Copper State Credit Union for pool-specific financing. In many cases, your mortgage lender can also roll your pool loan into your existing mortgage — often the most cost-effective option. Visit our financing page for more details or ask your designer at your consultation.

Payments are tied to construction milestones — you only pay as work is completed:

  • 30% at contract signing (funds permits and project initiation)
  • 30% at shotcrete completion (the structural shell)
  • 30% at interior finish
  • 10% at startup and orientation

Caribbean Pools provides a lifetime structural warranty on the pool shell — for as long as you own the home. Equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, typically 3 to 5 years depending on the contract and product, as a pass-through warranty. Interior finishes carry their own manufacturer warranty: 2 years on PebbleTec and PebbleCrystal, with longer warranty terms on PebbleSheen and other premium products. Additionally, our Paramount in-floor cleaning system carries a lifetime parts and labor warranty.

Hayward makes the most efficient pumps on the market, the most user-friendly equipment and automation systems, and consistently delivers reliable, innovative products. After 25+ years of building pools in Arizona, we’ve settled on Hayward as the equipment we trust on every job. Standardizing also means our service team can troubleshoot and stock parts efficiently if you ever need work after construction.

Paramount in-floor cleaning is a built-in cleaning system installed directly into the pool floor and walls during construction. Pop-up jets clean the floor, steps, and benches automatically — no robotic vacuum required. It’s the most reliable in-floor system on the market, which is why we’re able to offer a lifetime parts and labor warranty on the Paramount in-floor system itself. The cleaning heads are weighted instead of using ratchets, so if you step on one it won’t break. Paired with Hayward’s powerful pumps, it’s the most effective cleaning system available for a residential pool.

Yes, we build both saltwater and traditional chlorine pools. Note: a saltwater pool still uses chlorine — the salt cell continuously converts salt into chlorine throughout the day, instead of a pool service adding it once per week. The result is more consistent chlorine levels (no weekly spike-and-decline cycle) and water that’s often perceived as gentler on skin and eyes. The system is an additional cost — your designer can walk you through whether it’s the right fit.

That’s completely normal — most homeowners start with only a rough idea. Our designers have an average of 12 years in the pool industry and are very good at helping you turn vague preferences into a concrete design. We’ll walk your yard, ask about how you actually want to use the space, show you examples from past projects, and refine the design through multiple rounds until you love it. Revisions are free until you’re satisfied.

Absolutely. If you’re already working with a landscape architect, custom home designer, or independent pool designer, we’ll happily collaborate with them and build to their plans. We can also offer engineering and constructibility feedback during the design phase to make sure everything will work on your site.

No — we don’t have a minimum project size. Whether you want a compact spa, a small plunge pool, or a full backyard transformation with pool, spa, ramada, and outdoor kitchen, we’d love to talk.

We provide all the documentation your HOA will need — engineered plans, site drawings, equipment specifications, and any other supporting materials — but the homeowner submits the package to the HOA. This is by design: HOAs respond best to direct communication from the property owner, and we want you to have full visibility into what’s being submitted on your behalf.

No, Caribbean Pools focuses exclusively on new custom pool construction. We’ve found that specializing in new builds is the best way to deliver the quality and consistency our customers expect.

Yes! We recently launched Caribbean Pool Service and Repair — our sister company — which handles ongoing pool service, maintenance, equipment repair, and everything else you might need after your pool is built. Since our service team works on pools we built, they know your equipment, your in-floor layout, and your warranty status inside and out.

Arizona requires a building permit for every inground pool, and your city or county will inspect at multiple stages (typically pre-shotcrete and pre-fill). Pool barriers are required — this generally means perimeter fencing meeting specific height and gap requirements, plus self-closing self-latching gate hardware. Some jurisdictions also require pool alarms or motorized safety covers. We handle all the permit work and inspection coordination; you just need to make sure any required barrier is in place before your final pre-fill inspection.

The easiest first step is to request a free design consultation. One of our designers will call to schedule a visit at your home. There’s no obligation and no cost — you’ll leave the consultation with a clear sense of what’s possible for your yard and what it will cost.
